Our Resources Explained

IIA-Australia offers its members a variety of resources to aid them in internal auditing, governance, risk management, compliance and audit committee management. As a significant contributor to the knowledge base in these fields, we publish numerous professional materials, including:

  • Factsheets
  • White Papers
  • 20 Critical Questions

Our members consistently provide positive feedback, highlighting the value of our technical publications both in Australia and internationally. We frequently receive requests for translation of our publications, and we are continually expanding our content offerings.

At the core of our resources is the 2024 International Professional Practices Framework® (IPPF®), which provides technical and professional guidance. The IPPF serves as a structural blueprint and coherent system, facilitating the consistent development, interpretation and application of a comprehensive body of knowledge essential to the internal auditing profession. It organises the authoritative knowledge promulgated by The Institute of Internal Auditors, encompassing Global Internal Audit Standards, Topical Requirements and Global Guidance.

See our Standards page for further information on the IPPF.

Standards

IIA-Australia resources are intended to support the application of the IPPF, for information and educational purposes. This material is not intended to provide definitive answers to specific individual circumstances and as such is only intended to be used for assistance.
